Director Oliver Laxe takes audiences deep into the striking landscapes of southern Morocco in Sirât, an immersive and visually arresting journey unlike anything else on screen.

Luis and his young son travel to a remote rave in search of his missing daughter, hoping to find some trace of her among the nomadic community gathered there. Their search draws them farther into the desert, where the vast landscape and pulsing rhythms of electronic music become part of an increasingly powerful cinematic experience.

Anchored by Sergi López and driven by Kangding Ray’s propulsive electronic score, Sirât combines breathtaking imagery, sparse dialogue, and extraordinary sound design to create a film made to be experienced on the big screen.

Winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes and nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best International Feature Film and Best Sound, Sirât is a bold and unforgettable work from one of contemporary European cinema’s most distinctive filmmakers.
