Fighting For Home: How Housing Policy Keeps Connecticut Segregated

Please join us at Cinestudio on the campus of Trinity College for a free screening and discussion of the film, Fighting for Home: How Housing Policy Keeps Connecticut Segregated, hosted by Connecticut Public and Partnership for Strong Communities.

The documentary explores how the legacy of exclusionary zoning and redlining imposed the painful divide seen today in our state’s current housing crisis.

A panel discussion, moderated by Sabrina Buckwalter, Story Producer for Fighting For Home, will follow the screening. The panelists are:

  • Rep. Jason Rojas-House Majority Leader, Connecticut General Assembly
  • Hannah Srajer-President, Connecticut Tenants Union
  • Sarah White-Attorney with CT Fair Housing Center
  • Shanay Fulton-Middletown Zoning Commissioner
