Lola

Life is not going the way Lola planned. She is 18 and transgender, and instead of getting her diploma as a veterinary assistant and having the surgery that’s finally been approved, she is grieving her mother’s death. Two years ago, Lola’s father threw her out of the family home for being trans. Right now she’d rather be anywhere than with him, but her mother’s last wishes were for them to scatter her ashes in the North Sea. The outcome of their journey to the Belgian coast may not be what either of them is expecting.
