Anyone who is a fan of Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret in The Crown will want to catch her dazzling performance in this new stage production, broadcast live from the National Theatre. Kirby stars in a fierce update of Miss Julie, August Strindbergís trail-blazing play exploring class and sex. A member of the 1%, Julie throws herself a wild 33rd birthday rave at her family’s mansion in Hampstead Heath. As the revelers party, the invisible ‘downstairs’ help – a Ghanaian chauffeur named Jean (Eric Kofi Abrefa) and a Brazilian maid (Thalissa Teixeira) – are hard at work. But when Julie drags Jean upstairs for dancing and whatever it leads to, her power game escalates into a fight for survival.

“a performance that confirms Kirby as the outstanding stage actress of her generation.” Matt Trueman, Variety.
Please note that Julie will contain strobe lighting
