When Sarah accidentally proposes to Kristen in Provincetown, she finds herself at odds with her partner’s expectations of their future. The mix-up sends both women on different journeys of marital exploration. Sarah is a documentary filmmaker. To help overcome her fear of divorce, she begins to interview same-sex couples. Kristen is ready to tie the knot but sees a future version of their life where career and passion threaten to pull them apart. Opposites attract, but what can keep them together?
