Many people know the story of the four very different March sisters growing up in Concord, Massachusetts in the midst of the uncertainties of the Civil War. Thanks to a brilliant cast (Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, and Meryl Streep, for a start), the sisterly dramas, quarrels, and dreams feel as fresh as if they were happening today.
