Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the seminal film, Warner Bros. Pictures is releasing an “unrestored” 70mm print of Kubrick’s groundbreaking science fiction epic. A true photochemical film recreation, this print was struck from new printing elements made from the original camera negative under the supervision of Christopher Nolan.

There are no digital tricks, remastered effects, or revisionist edits.  This is the unrestored film – that recreates the cinematic event that audiences experienced fifty years ago.



In Super Panavision 70MM, from director Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight trilogy) comes the story of a team of pioneers undertaking the most important mission in human history. Academy Award®-winner Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyer’s Club) stars as ex-pilot-turned-farmer Cooper, who must leave his family and a foundering Earth behind to lead an expedition traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.



When Alfonso Cuarón (Children of Men, Y Tu Mama Tambien) first dreamed up Roma, he saw it as a 70mm film, seen in a  cinema. We are thrilled to be able to grant his desire! Roma – nominated for 10 Academy Awards – is a luminous portrait of one family in Mexico City in the early 1970s.



Winner of four Academy Awards, applauded as “monumental,” “tremendous,” “genuinely great” by critics across the country, “Spartacus” has long been considered one of the screen’s great achievements. Spartacus” under the direction of then-31-year-old Kubrick will be presented as it was meant to be seen: In 70mm and six-track Dolby Sound..
