For the first time, the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, are bringing together Lucian Freud’s provocative self-portraits. Brought to cinemas with the popular Exhibition On Screen, Self Portraits will display more than 50 paintings and drawings in which this modern titan of British art turned his brutally honest eye on himself. Spanning nearly seven decades his self-portraits give an insight into his psyche, and his development as a painter. Don’t miss a unique opportunity to witness the life’s work of a master in one show.

“Shocking and utterly brilliant.” – TimeOut, London.

“For Lucian Freud, the act of ‘looking’ was everything. This film is very much about the progress of time and one man’s intense struggle with the making of art.” – Phil Grabsky, executive producer.
